Members of The 1879 Group joined Denbigh and District Male Voice Choir and The Regimental Band & Corps of Drums of The Royal Welsh at Harlech Castle as a part of the 140th commemoration of the Battle of Rorke's Drift.

The band and chiors performed several numbers to a large number of members of the public in the castle courtyard.

To mark the anniversary of the Battles of Islandwana and Rorke's Drift the Regimental Band are touring Wales putting on performances at various locations and taking part in fund-raising activities.
